Operation in Scotland

REDAS Engineering & Construction has been operational in Scotland since 2025–26, with its Scottish office based at Inveralmond Business Centre, Perth, PH1 3FX.

REDAS focuses on delivering specialist engineering solutions for the evolving UK energy sector, with particular expertise in HV substation design, Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) integration and testing, and renewable energy integration to the electricity grid, building services, data centres and industrial automation.

Our capabilities include substation primary plant, protection & control, secondary and LV systems, BESS integration and commissioning, renewable generation grid connections, and HV testing and commissioning. We work closely with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs), Independent Distribution Network Operators (IDNOs), developers and other industry stakeholders to support successful grid connections.

A key area of our expertise is ensuring projects meet applicable Grid Code, DNO/IDNO technical requirements and network compliance obligations, supporting clients from initial design and grid connection through construction, testing, commissioning and energisation.

Based in Perth and supporting projects across Scotland, REDAS is focused on enabling reliable, compliant and technically robust connections for the next generation of renewable energy and energy storage projects.
